This role will sit in VMWare's Security Business Unit, VMWare Carbon Black; a leader in cloud-native endpoint protection dedicated to keeping the world safe from cyberattacks. The VMware Carbon Black Cloud consolidates endpoint protection and IT operations into an endpoint protection platform (EPP) that prevents advanced threats, provides actionable insight and enables businesses of all sizes to simplify operations.

Job Role and Responsibilities:  

Vmware Carbon Black seeks an experienced Field Marketing Manager who will be responsible for demonstrating the value of VMware Carbon Black solutions in the US Healthcare market through: Improved positioning and messaging, thought leadership, deep customer intimacy and targeted demand generation activities.

Required Skills:

  • Develop and implement target account strategy to support account-based selling.
  • Design and implement integrated marketing programs that generate inquiries, meetings, pipeline, and drive new customer acquisition and new business with existing customers.
  • Manage annual field marketing budgets of $1M+
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive account profiles and target personas; oversee a database of named contacts to align marketing and sales in defining the target audience required to achieve account goals.
  • Work with sales to identify gaps in key personas and contact information within strategic accounts; develop data and insight strategy to add key personas and contacts within accounts.
  • Present to Field Sales teams on quarterly metrics, marketing initiatives and ROI.

Preferred Skills: 

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B field marketing roles or comparable experience
  • Must Have: Healthcare marketing experience
  • Must Have: Real-world experience using SalesForce.com and Marketo
  • Experience with budget management
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Account-Based Marketing experience is a big plus!
