The Talent Coordinator is an entry-level opportunity in the HR/Talent Development department at URBN and is responsible for supporting their team members and URBN employees.

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration of the Talent facing modules in UltiPro, including LMS (Learning Management System) and Talent/Performance Management, by uploading content, launching forms and courses, and recording and reporting learning history data for business partners
  • Resolve tickets and provide customer service through HRSD (HR Service Delivery) 
  • Assist team members, business partners, and internal clients who have software-related questions or issues in Talent systems, including the creation of technical documentation and support articles
  • Establish and maintain standards to ensure data integrity and best practices related to the LMS and other supported instructional technologies
  • Audit and monitor data integrity within Talent systems
  • Collaborate in making courses and course content functional in the LMS
  • Work with internal and external partners to address and resolve LMS needs
  • Assist with administrative tasks associated with Talent Development programs such as program recruitment, tracking and ordering inventory, and updating existing training content to reflect process or policy changes using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Jira
  • Support URBN programs as needed including communication to participants and program speakers, overseeing the setup and production of live or virtual events, and partnering with the Internal Communications team
  • Provide general administrative support to the Talent Development department
  • Achieve alternative associated duties and tasks as designated or as become perceptible

Qualifications 

URBN is highly entrepreneurial, so successful candidates will couple experience and intelligence with a charismatic, collaborative work style. Our ideal candidate brings a minimum of one year of relevant experience in retail, apparel, or other highly creative industries and a desired career path in talent systems support or Learning & Development. 

Job Skills

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience supporting a dynamic client group and experience working in a Learning Management System or HRIS. Strong preference for experience in UltiPro
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Zoom, and Slack
  • Education or relevant experience in Human Resources, Instructional Design, Adult Learning, or Organizational Development
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balance multiple tight deadlines and priorities, and be adaptive to change
  • Passion for URBN Brands and our diverse employee and customer populations
  • Demonstrated experience in fostering diversity and inclusion within the workplace, with a track record of supporting inclusive HR/Development practices.
