As part of our team, we are hiring a Technology Talent Development Programs Specialist who will be responsible for the program management of the Technology Development Program (TDP) and Technology Internship Program (TIP)
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead TDP and TIP program management end to end to ensure program outcomes are achieved on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Continuous monitoring of project work, identifying milestones and concerns in areas where deadlines and progress may not be met, and working to remediate.
- Create presentations that leverage quantitative and qualitative data for share-outs with stakeholders and leadership.
- Create surveys through Qualtrics (or similar application platforms), analyze and collect data to be shared with peers, leaders, and executive leadership for strategic decisions.
- Provide guidance, support, and direction to active TDP and TIP program cohorts and people leaders who are engaged with the cohorts.
- Schedule retros and feedback sessions to assess outcomes and improvement plans for future iterations.
- Exude excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to help brand program.
- Apply strong attention to detail and top-notch quality of work to elevate program impact and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Help to manage the budget for Tech Talent programs.
- Work with a portfolio of Tech vendors to build partnerships, address program needs, gain a thorough understanding of functionality, and provide insights on implementation.
- Some travel within the Bank’s footprint required.
- Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
- Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years’ proven general management, project analysis or project management experience, including a minimum of 1 year’s project management experience, OR in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 4 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 2 years’ proven general management, project analysis or project management experience, of which a minimum of 1 years’ is project management experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to leverage data using excel and dashboards
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize multiple competing initiatives
- Strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work autonomously
- Strong presentation skills and ability to use data to tell a story
- An interest in working with Technology stakeholders
- Must be able to work onsite at Seneca One, Buffalo, NY a minimum of 3 days per week
Education and Experience Preferred
- Master’s degree in Business, Economics and/or Analytics, Business Administration, and/or Communications
- Project Management and/or Program Management Certification
- Ability to effectively present to all levels of management, including senior and executive level leadership
- Experience with customer advocacy and community building
- Experience with communications and engagement campaign development and management
- Experience managing a robust budget
- Experience working with vendors and external partners to deliver on business outcomes
M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $60,890.34 - $101,483.90 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
