I'm grateful to be able to call photography my passion AND my trade. Building my own business and being my own boss has had its challenges, but it is so inspiring + liberating. While on the surface, much of my work time is filled with shooting weddings, families and children... to me, it's more than just posed portraits. It's about the stories and the relationships. I love to be able to connect with people on a "real" level - getting to know who they really are and letting my camera capture that.
I call Detroit, Michigan my home, but I love to travel and my husband + I are constantly planning our next adventure.
