About Me

Hi! I'm Adeline. I've been where you are and I'm here to come alongside to support you in navigating the world of careers. Whether you're trying to discover your passion & the direction you want to go, make an industry or career transition, be more strategic in your job search or are feeling a little stagnant or lost, I'm here to help with it all, because I've experienced it all. Just as life has seasons, so do careers, and sometimes it can all feel a bit overwhelming to navigate it. I currently oversee Corporate Recruiting for Arhaus Furniture, and for the past decade I've recruited for the fashion, retail & consumer goods space working with college graduates all the way to SVP levels across product creation, marketing, brand strategy & operations. I've worked in-house and on the agency side with and for brands including Gap Inc. (Banana Republic, Athleta & Old Navy), SKIMS, FIGS, Bad Birdie, Patagonia, Wilson Sporting Goods, and Anastasia Beverly Hills. Prior to my time in recruiting I worked in sales & PR. My approach & philosophy is simple: let's get to the core of who you are, what is important and meaningful to you and create a plan to move you forward into the direction that best fits you! If you’d like to book a free 15-minute consultation session, please reach out to me directly at adelinecareercoach@gmail.com **Please note, if you are booking a session to specifically discuss Arhaus, I keep my coaching business and Arhaus recruiting calls separate. If you're interested in discussing opportunities or your candidacy with Arhaus specifically, please reach out to me directly on LinkedIn. AREAS I CAN SUPPORT: -Making a career transition -How to approach your job search -Feedback on resume + LinkedIn -Portfolio prep -Strategize on how you brand yourself -Maximizing your time in the application process -Creating clarity on roles you are applying for -Recalibrating + regrouping after sending out multiple applications with no response -Interview preparation -Navigating career progression / promotion conversations -Guidance in how to re-enter or enter the job market (stay at home parent, college students, coming back from bereavement, health sabbatical etc.) -Determining which direction you want to go with your career -Navigating internal work dynamics with coworkers, boss or direct reports

I worked with Addy on dissecting a job description that I was interested in but was ambiguous. She pushed me to clearly articulate what excited me about the role. We also discussed questions I could ask the hiring manager to ensure this role, although ambiguous, was the right fit for me. Happy to report that I made it through interviews, was presented a final offer, and accepted! The process with Addy helped me dig deep and evaluate the role to ensure it was a fit for me/my goals (growth, leadership style alignment, a step towards longer term career goals) that I was gravitating towards and not merely change. Thanks Addy!

Addy helped me prepare my story for interviews in a new field where I did not have deep expertise but needed to speak to transferable skills. I headed into these interviews with a clear narrative and "why" I wanted to make this pivot. After meeting with the hiring manager I made it to the second round and received praise for many of my answers. I did not get the role BUT I left the interviews feeling confident for the next opportunity rather than defeated. Thanks Addy!

I cannot recommend Addy enough. She is a wealth of knowledge, she is poised, and a true mentor. I worked with her a few times now. After each session I gained a bit more clarity on my career direction and confidence as I headed into interviews. We've worked together mostly on interview prep, reading job descriptions, and polishing my career story. She also has been a great person to ask for general career advice, career direction guidance, navigating career relationships, and has pushed me to keep an open mind to open up more opportunities for myself. I cannot thank her enough.

Adeline was such an amazing help with helping me rethink the narrative on my “spotty” resume and help me feel more confident during interviews. We worked together to figure out how to approach the next steps in my career and what I should prioritize. Thanks to her guidance, I feel much more confident!

Adeline was so helpful while I prepared for an interview. She was good at reviewing my work history, finding a common theme, and crafting a story about my experience. I would highly recommend her!
