This role will sit in VMWare's Security Business Unit, VMWare Carbon Black; a leader in cloud-native endpoint protection dedicated to keeping the world safe from cyberattacks. The VMware Carbon Black Cloud consolidates endpoint protection and IT operations into an endpoint protection platform (EPP) that prevents advanced threats, provides actionable insight and enables businesses of all sizes to simplify operations.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

VMWare Carbon Black seeks a creative, critical thinker and metrics driven Senior Channel Marketing Manager. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing joint marketing programs and events to reach target accounts and stakeholders in top accounts, assisting Channel sales in building pipeline and raising brand awareness. You will create annual and quarterly marketing plans and targets that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities for the sales team working with targeted partners.  

You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with our sales team, and collaborating with other marketing functions to ensure success as they execute their regional plans.

Required Skills:

  • Build channel specific programs and promotions that meet Channel Sales and Partner requirements
  • Manage annual channel marketing budgets of 500K+
  • Work with key members of the Channel Sales teams to determine program requirements and test drive proposed program features and functions
  • Develop and create specific marketing programs and promotions
  • Participate in joint business planning sessions

Preferred Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in channel marketing roles or comparable channel experience.
  • Hands on experience with SalesForce.com & Marketing Automation Tool (Marketo)
  • Bachelor’s Degree with concentration in marketing or related areas.
  • Additional experience in the following: Event management, Demand generation, Cybersecurity space, Budget management, Digital marketing, Webcasts, Case study development
