When SommerAnn graduated from Denison University in 2013 with a degree in English and French, she followed her passion of working for a nonprofit to Chicago. After a year and a half of working with volunteers and planning events, she decided to return to her marketing roots. After interviewing founder Lauren for a feature with The Key magazine, she fell in love with Career Contessa’s mission and jumped on board. When not expanding Career Contessa's ambassador program and brand awareness, SommerAnn can be found training for the Chicago Marathon and catching-up with friends at her favorite happy hour spots.
