Romy Newman

Romy Newman is cofounder of Fairygodboss, a site which collects employer reviews for women by women. Romy was formerly Head of Digital Advertising for The Wall Street Journal, overseeing sales, marketing and operations for The Wall Street Journal Digital Network. Romy helped launch WSJ Magazine, WSJ Weekend, Greater New York, Mansion and the WSJ iPad app. She previously held marketing positions at Google and Estee Lauder, and was a strategy consultant advising leading media outlets. Romy graduated with a B.A. in American Studies from Yale University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She is a proud mother of two, and looks forward to helping other women have the same fantastic career experiences – supported by both great female and male colleagues - that she has had.
