As someone who seeks to cultivate an internationally-minded purview, Abby believes personal and societal growth happen when challenged to step outside of one's comfort zone. A native of New Orleans, she graduated Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with degrees in International Relations and East Asian Languages & Cultures. She is continually inspired by her courageous mom, who taught her to "pay it forward" and depend on herself. When she's not practicing her Mandarin Chinese or traveling, she is listening to podcasts and reading anything on her new iPad (which she loves). She currently works for The Broad in downtown Los Angeles, and spends her free time reading, exercising, and experiencing.
