I'm Iris and I started my recruiting career on the agency side at Robert Half. I knew I wanted to become a recruiter around my last year of college and thought working at a staffing agency would be great training in the recruiting world. IT WAS! After about a year on the agency side, I went in house as a Sr. Recruiter at a company called Internet Brands. I really honed in my recruiting skill-set there and figured I would work hard and eventually transition over to fashion, which is where I really wanted to be. After almost two years at Internet Brands, I decided it was time to make the leap and I applied for a role at Nasty Gal. I got the job a week later! I've been here ever since (almost 5 years) having a blast! Not only do I focus on recruiting top talent and managing a team, but I also have my hands in talent development which I feel is the best part of my job. Last year, I also launched my own company, FindersKeepers Talent. FindersKeepers Talent helps companies find talent they want to keep and helps talent find companies that are going to be the best match for their work lifestyle. I have a lot of experience with "millennials" because I am one! I'm all about keeping it real and having fun. At the end of the day, your career is your life's work; if you're not having fun while doing it, what's the point?
